The Sacrament of Reconciliation is also known as the Sacrament of Penance (it's official title) and also by the older name "Confession." This Sacrament is only available for a child who has reached "the age of reason." Basically this requires the child to know the difference between right and wrong.
At the current time baptised Catholics from Year 3 onwards at all schools in Kurri Kurri and surrounds are eligible for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
The First Parent meeting is:
Thursday 27th February at 7.00pm, at Holy Spirit Primary School , Barton St Kurri Kurri.
As part of the program parents are asked to assist their children by attending Sunday Masses whilst the children attend the weekly sessions. The children will return to parents during the "Preparation of Gifts" time at Mass. The preparation sessions for the children commence a 15 minutes prior to Mass starting. Ask parents to be the by 9.10am
